Cancellation Policy
Shuttle (By-The-Seat)
- More than forty-eight (48) hours prior to scheduled departure:You may cancel your flight reservation at NO cost.
- Twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation at a cancellation fee of $49 per seat.
- Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure:No cancellations allowed.
- Weather CancellationIn the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive a full refund equal to the value of your entire order.
Change Policy
- More than forty-eight (48) hours prior to scheduled departure:You may change your flight reservation at no cost.
- Twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours prior to scheduled departure:You may cancel your flight reservation at a cancellation fee of $49 per seat.
- Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure:No cancellations allowed.
Charters (Helicopter)
More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure
You may cancel your flight reservation and receive fpl refund. If you have entered into a separate charter agreement with us, the cancellation policy stated in the agreement shall govern.
Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to schedped departure
No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.
Change Policy
Greater than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure
Changes will be accommodated subject to aircraft availability. Additional charges may apply.
Less than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure
You may not change your flight reservation.
Note: In the case of cancellations and delays of flights due to weather, unforeseen mechanical events, and temporary flight restrictions, Ontime Aviation may reassign you to a different aircraft than the type on which you originally purchased your ticket.
Luggage Policies
How many bags can you take?
Due to weight restrictions, all fare classes are limited to one flight carry-on bag and one personal item. To bring a second carry-on, select the Excess Luggage and Enhanced Seating upgrade.
Commuter Pass holders may bring one personal item only.
What are the bag restrictions?
Passengers are allowed one (1) standard-sized bag (60cm X 45cm X 25 cm) not to exceed 21 kilograms as well as one small handbag (purse or briefcase). All luggage is subject to operators discretion. Additional luggage requires the operators pre-approval.
Neither Ontime Aviation nor their operators assume liability for lost, damage, or delayed luggage. We encourage our passengers to use soft bags.
Extra Luggage is subject to feasibility and an additional fee. If the number of additional luggage requires a second aircraft, the associated cost will be charged to the passenger. If your luggage requires special care (fragile luggage or dimensions outside the authorized standard) you must contact Ontime Aviation (info@ontimeaviation.mn or +976 95907755) at least 24 hours in advance. Any luggage that does not meet the required standard will be transported as soon as possible by air or land and subject to an additional charge at the expense of the passenger.
What can be considered a personal item?
Personal items include laptops, tablets, purses, or folios. Briefcases, backpacks, messenger-style bags must be stowed in the aircraft baggage compartment.
Golf Clubs are only permitted on charter flights.
What if I have excess luggage?
- For flights between Ulaanbaatar and Chinggis Khaan airport, optionally add a luggage pick-up service to arrange for your bags to be picked up ahead of time and delivered to your final destination or airport.
- If you bring oversized baggage to your flight, Ontime Aviation reserves the right to reject bags that are deemed too heavy or large for your flight. If there is room, Ontime Aviation will try to place your item on later flight or ground transportation.
Are there any restricted items?
The following items are not permitted:
- Contraband
- Hoverboard
- Firearms
- Aerosol cans
- Hazardous materials, including explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials
The following items must remain on your person or in the cabin and are not permitted in checked luggage:
- Electronic smoking devices and e-cigarettes.
- Lithium batteries, all consumer electronic & medical devices (watches, cameras, cellular phones, laptop computer, camcorders, and hearing aids, etc.) containing lithium cells or batteries, and spare lithium batteries and cells for these devices.
